ESC tray/shelf for the Kyosho Rerelease Optima Mid. Hardware required: QTY=2 M3X6 flathead screws The Kyosho Optima Mid has very little space for mounting electronics with the standard chassis design. The narrow lower chassis and limited space on the upper deck due to the belt guard limit the locations that electronics can be mounted. It is challenging with a brushed configuration but becomes especially difficult when you want to install a brushless system where the ESC has a fan. You can remove the fan in some cases to allow you to clear the upper deck, but I generally prefer to have the fan installed. This shelf uses the two hole locations in the lower chassis for use with the Kyosho Lemans ESC system. This is designed to fully clear the body, and as long as you stay within the front edge and outside edge, your ESC should easily clear the body. I would recommend trimming the upper deck as outlined in the manual for wire clearance, but that is a personal preference. After printing, tap the lower holes with a M3 tap or you could theoretically use M3 self tapping screws. Attach to the chassis and enjoy more space for your brushless ESC.
