Kyosho Ultima ST EP/GP rear suspension arms RS-2/UM102/UMW116

Well, this took some time, but here they are finally. RS-2/UM102/UMW116 rear suspension arms. These arms are identical between the Ultima Stadium Truck versions. EP/GP and Racing Sports/Type-R/EVO models use these same arms. The only difference is the amount of fibers in plastic. UM102 is the hardest arm, UMW116 is the softest and RS-2 is somewhere between them. You can try to print these with FDM printer (fiddle around with printing orientation to get the strongest hinge pin area), but i suggest you should use SLS printing services to get durable parts. There is no easy way to reinforce the hinge pin areas. I have reinforced them as much as i could, but there´s just not enough space available. Suspension geometry is untouched, its perfectly stock. Keep in mind that the arms are left and right arms. You can swap them around, but there is slight reinforcement differences in the hinge pin areas. And i also tried to make them as print friendly as i could in the time i had. You only need minimal amount of supports. Clean the hinge pin holes with 3mm drill bit before installing hinge pin. Dont force them. Print with 100% infill and max nozzle temp allowed for your filament to get the best layer adhesion. And try printing with different materials to get the flex/stiffness you want to the arms. Enjoy and drop a comment how did it work for you, or if you want any changes to be made!
