L-4 Grasshopper Landing Gear Replacement (HobbyKing)

The L-4 Grasshopper from HobbyKing is an amazing plane, it flies great! However... If you give this plane a rough landing the mounting brackets on the landing gear will smash to pieces are there are NO spares available, so I made my own. The tab-bracket hole needs to be drilled manually & I've included 1mm & 2mm mounting bracket holes depending on which fits your spring's best. Repetier will complain about the manifold not being water tight, but it'll slice OK with slic3r Even printing with PLA this landing gear is wayyyy stronger than the original plastic panels as I've made it 4mm deep & added in extra supports to handle future rough landings. It takes about 3hrs to print a side with a 0.2mm nozzle with 15% honeycomb on my delta printer. Other printers will vary. If it doesn't survive a couple of rough landings, I'll increase the support under the tab-bracket. What I've added right now feels right, but we'll see what happens in the real world. Note The L-4 Grasshopper is basically a re-paint of the J-3 Cub, but all the J3 model spares I could find, none had the same undercarriage as the the grasshopper.
