L-Bracket for a Nikon D810 DSLR Camera

This is a simple and very handy bracket for a high-end Nikon D810 DSLR camera. The bracket mounts to a tripod, and the camera mounts to the bracket. Quick changes from landscape to portrait orientation are its primary function, but it also allows the camera to be quickly detached for handheld shooting. An integral "anti-rotation" bracket prevents camera sag when using heavy lenses. The large handle allows the camera to be rotated easier than grabbing the camera itself. Using the handle also prevents dirt and moisture on the photographer's hands from contacting the camera- an important feature for hard core, landscape photographers. This is a second generation L-bracket. The previous version was designed for a Nikon D300S DSLR camera. This bracket incorporates many improvements gained from years of field use. One of those is the addition of a spring pin that locks the camera to the bracket. Arca Swiss quick release plates allow use on a variety of tripod heads. A robust build accommodates heavy, telephoto lenses.
