RigidBot especific mount for the L-Cheapo laser cutter tool with the MK2 PCB. The mounting holes are 25 mm apart so it can mount directly over the X belt attachment bolts. Tested on IAP's OEM single extruder carriage and should work with the Dual Extruder version as well. UPDATE: 3 years later... Turns out that printing this on PLA isn't such a great idea, it slowly deforms under it's own weight. That's partly a design flaw because weight applies a constant rotational force to the screw holes... Need to re-design and make it lighter. WARNING: Keep in mind that the laser is some 87 mm behind your nozzle so the beam can hit well beyond your Y limit, if you are careless you could cut your Y belt or any cables below the printer bed (the heated bed cable is a prime candidate). You are supposed to use a sacrificial surface between the printer bed and whatever you are cutting and that sacrificial piece should extend more than 87 mm towards the back on the Y direction. Instructions Included a fixed mesh version of the generic MK2 mount as well, since the STL part by spiritplumber have some non-manifold issues that prevent correct slicing. The file named "L-Cheapo V2 RigidBot Mount" is the customized one. Printed in PLA with .2 mm layer height and 0.8 mm top and bottom faces (20% infill) to make sure the bottom plate is nearly solid (that's where the mount stability comes from). The mounting surface is 1.8 mm thick and should not be a problem with the original M3x8 bolts, but feel free to use longer ones if you want to be extra safe.
