L-Corner Bracket - Support for Stiffness

L-Corner Bracket - Support for Stiffness

thingiverse

L-shaped corner bracket for 3D printers which use sigma profiles. There are 3 holes on both sides. I only used two of them which are on the edges, because I wanted to left the original piece inside of the sigma profiles. I also added walls between the screw holes for more stiffness. You can use screwdrivers easily through the holes which are on the walls. The thickness of the walls is 5.5mm which is very thick. I can say, this is the hardest piece I've ever printed and my printer is very stiff now. You only need M4 t-nuts and screws to mount it. I used four of them for every corner except the middle bottom piece where X and Y meets. Important: You'll lose a few centimeters on Z-top, since I don't print that tall prints usually, I didn't see any problem to use them. But if you print tall prints, consider this.
