Lace Keeper

Lace Keeper

This is something I made for the [Jointed Shoe Lacing Device](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1850493). It is a great and robust lace replacement system, however I had problems managing the left over laces. There were 3 obvious solutions: 1) tugging into the shoe; 2) weaving along the sides; 3) cutting the laces and securing with a knot. I wasn't happy with any of them. So I made this simple widget that lets you roll up the left over laces into a neat little bundle. No knots required, and it's very easy to fit and adjust if necessary. Simply fit the shoe with the lacing device over your foot as you would wear them. String the ends of the left over laces into 2 Lace Keepers at both sides and tighten slightly. Then roll the laces onto the Lace Keepers tightly and insert the end into the other hole. That's it. It is also very quick and easy to start over and adjust if needed.
