Lack (IKEA) Table Leg Extension - Nightstand Height

Lack (IKEA) Table Leg Extension - Nightstand Height

thingiverse

My wife and I are a bit frugal (okay, we're cheap-asses) and have been using Lack tables from IKEA for our nightstands since we moved a few years ago. It's bothered me more than her, so I decided to make leg extensions to get them to the proper height. The overall design is super-simple and angular, purposefully kept so to match the design of the original table. Keep in mind that even at 5% infill, a full set costs just shy of $10 in PLA (roughly the cost for the entire table). However, in our case we already had the tables so $20 for two sets still seemed worth it to me. I've attached the STL, STEP and original Fusion 360 files for easy modding if anyone is so inclined (for instance, on ours I put some his/herish lettering along the front for fun). FYI - the part that slips over the original feet is fairly snug. If you print, please post a make as I'd love to see how yours turns out! Also, any feedback is appreciated!
