Lagoa represents Dakar RC Rally

So this year I was able to participate for the Dakar RC Rally thanks to Megablocks, Lagoa and GrabCAD.com. This was a moment captured while I was going over the sand dunes of Dakar.Pretty cool isn't it!" Capabilities of Lagoa used to complete the rendering. -The dust could was particle array with couple of copies and even though the scene was very heavy the renderer handled them efficiently. -Preset Materials helped a lot to get realistic effect. -The blend materials were used to get the dirt overlay for the truck body. -Key board navigation was easy also. -The 3d view port was working very fluidly even with the heavy mesh. -The Sun light system gave pretty good results very quickly. -The lighting system was accurate. -The texture mapping was easy and helped me to place decals correctly. -Used blend and mix materials. -The material settings were easy and less confusing. -Keep up the good work Lagoa! Modifications done to the model -Moved the tires -Introduced mates to the suspension assembly -Split the surfaces to give separate materials, since I had some issues with texture mapping at the first. -The sand and the particles were created using 3ds max Hope you guys like my entry!
