I finally completed my first fully functional 3D printed lamp after a long wait of about 42 hours due to a print speed of 0.2 mm layer height and 100% infill setting. The lamp now works perfectly. If you plan on printing one, it's definitely worth using a material stronger than PLA for the clamp function to work effectively.
