LAPD 2019 Spinner A police Aerodyne vehicle capable of both ground and flight modes. *Assembly Required, no supported version available Model Notes: Modeled in Fusion 360. This was created using blueprints from the 1982 film. The model has been hollowed to save on resin and to allow for LEDs to be added if one is so inclined. The front of the body as well as the flight pods have holes that will fit 2 4.76mm neodymium magnets. This allows you to display the model in either ground mode or flight mode. The model comes with two doors that have raised markings displaying the iconic 'POLICE 995' markings as well as a door with no markings. You will need to copy and mirror the unmarked door if you want your model to have no raised markings. You will also need to copy and mirror the lightbar if you are building the police version. *Printing Tip: I printed this model with all parts oriented vertical to the build plate and supported by a wall of supports around the edges of the flat parts of the model with the remaining supports going up into the interior of the body parts (see the suggested print orientation pic). This minimizes any scarring or support marks on the model. I suggest curing the lightbar before attempting to remove the supports from it as it is a very thin part. I have not tried to print this on an FDM printer, but I believe it would print fine with minimal supports, althought the small parts such as the marked doors and the lightbar may not print well on a filament printer.
