This is a simple design to add a mount to for my laptop and docking station behind my monitors. This allows for the laptop to be opened and the screen sits above my current monitors for some additional screen real estate. It also fits the laptop in its closed state which reduces any wobble from desk bumps, etc. if that's a concern. The diameter of my monitor mount tube is ~35mm this fits snugly.
