Laptop Stand for Lenovo Y700

This is a laptop stand for the Lenovo Y700. It is designed so the the sub-woofer is not blocker, nor is the cooling intake blocked. I purchased my fasteners from McMaster-Carr, the info is posted below. B.O.M. for fasteners: 12 - M3x0.5 length 25mm (22mm will work) 18-8 SS Socket Head Screw McMaster #91292A020 12 - M3x0.5 18-8 SS Nylon-Insert Locknut McMaster #93625A100 The lock nuts are to be pressed into the slots in the center pieces. The slots are sized nominal so there will be some friction and they require a little force to push them in. I used a set of small needle nose to do this. After installing the nuts, before final assembly, thread the screws in to ensure that the nuts are aligned properly. Take screws out the perform final assembly. This stand slides easily on a slick surface. I will be adding some kind felt or rubber padding.
