Laptop Stops for DIY Tripod Desk

Laptop Stops for DIY Tripod Desk

I designed this bracket as a laptop stop for making a DIY Rolling Tripod Desk. To make the desk, I used a tripod with an Arca-style plate, and added a wheeled base (linked below) to make it easy to roll around. To make the desktop, I used the bracket linked below and mounted it to a piece of 3/4" wood. I added the 3D printed laptop stops at the bottom to hold my laptop in place when the desktop is tilted. NOTE: I do not recommend rolling this around with your laptop on it, I intend to roll the desk into place, engage the brakes, and then set my laptop on top of it. And I'll take my laptop off before rolling the desk to a new spot. Print brackets on their sides, as shown in the slicer image (4th image above), for strength across the 90 degree angle. Here are the wheels and bracket I used: https://tethertools.com/product/rock-solid-tripod-roller/ https://tethertools.com/product/lopro-2-bracket/
