Large Mouth Mason Jar Ring

This is an edit since the first attempt wasn't loading correctly. I also updated the Mason Jar Band to the knurled version since it is the strongest. Here is a watertight Mason Jar lid. It is watertight when used with the reusable silicone seals and fits the Wide Mouth Jars. After printing a couple designs, it became apparent that a functional Mason Jar lid is more elusive than I first surmised so I designed my own. The pitch was hard to get right, also the treads are not symmetrical, being nearly flat on the top. It's printed pretty heavy at least 4 layers top, bottom and sides. The sheer force on the lid is considerable when tightening. My first attempt separated at the layers until I increased the wall thickness. I included a lid used for a dosing pump. It is pretty easy to make the reusable lid part in a way that fits your purpose. I designed the ring on DesignSpark because their turning tool is better than Fusion 360 for cutting threads. At least I think so. I hope someone finds it useful. This is also my first post.
