You could measure your tray and compare to STL to find out whether it would fit in or not before printing. We've lost our cup, and any other cup just won't fit well, so I made a larger tray which is good enough for regular kid cups from IKEA (and, maybe, many others). Make sure you print both parts upside down (as in STL). Use supports to print main part. Print insert without top and bottom layers with honeycomb infill at 10-15% density.
