Larp sodastream Oxygen-tank

This project is WORK-IN-PROGRESS, meaning I might end up changing a few models to provide better fittings etc. so be warned. If you print this project right away you might end up having to print everything again. What is this thing? ============== Well, one of my hobbies is liveroleplaying and for an event that takes place in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe, I wanted to equip my character with an oxygen tank, allow him to enter toxicated areas for a brief amount of time. Long story short, real oxygen tanks are heavy and expensive. So I came up with a solution that gets rid of two problems at the same time. Since the stores in my area refuse to take back Sodastream cartages without you being able to prove that you baught them at their store (Yes I know, I should learn to collect sales checks), I found two of those cartages to be just perfect for my project. V 0.0.1: ---------- So right now I managed to come up with a solid construction that is not taking my whole buildplate up and that can be printed with 30% infill and yet been tossed around without braking. (Trust me, I have tested the last part for a while. ^^) The next step will be to design two different kind of attachments to be screwed behind the connectors, which will allow me to strap the top to me belt and the bottom one to my leg, allow me to carry these cartages around like a pistoleholster. After that all I have to do is to come up with a pipe or two, to connect the valves and give me an attachmentpoint for my gasmasks "trunk". On a second thought, I am not sure if I like the current "cap" design I have thrown over the valves. We will see were I will go with this. ### To-do list: > - design a vertical sling holder for the belt loop >- design a horizontal sling holder for the leg strap > - messure the gasmasks connector diameter to design an attachmentpoint for that > - design a connecter between the cartages valves
