(Laser Cut) Flying Carpet Mini w/ Stand (Surface Art Separate!)

<p>1" = 5' scale 6'x9' Flying Carpet.</p> <p>I used the lovely art from <a href="https://www.deviantart.com/sydonz/art/Magic-Carpet-431543088">https://www.deviantart.com/sydonz/art/Magic-Carpet-431543088</a></p> <p>Solid etch the art, then use these files to cut out the carpet and go. (You can set this all up in one go in Visicut, I also used a 3 pass cut to minimize marking up the edges.)</p> <p>The tolerances on this one are tight, and you'll want to size it for your particularly machine, so I'd recommend adjusting the material sizes to your measured thickness in Fusion 360 and then reexporting with your own measured kerf width using "DXF for Laser" ( <a href="https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=7634902334100976871">https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=7634902334100976871</a> ).</p> <p>The provided DXF files are adjusted for the 0.013" Kerf of the laser cutter in my makerspace and are sized for 3.25mm acrylic.</p> Category: Games
