Laser Cut Garden Stakes

Laser Cut Garden Stakes

thingiverse

Here's a very simple one just in time for spring planting: Some small stakes, laser engraved with what's going in the garden this year. We usually make seed markers out of popsicle sticks and a sharpie marker, but they never last. Either the ink bleeds out over time, or they're so small they get kicked over or lost. Hopefully with a more substantial stake and permanent writing, we won't be surprised when our green beans start sprouting peas. Instructions I use a low-cost "blue box" laser, so I must do the engrave and cut operations in two passes. In the CDR the text and outline are separated out into two layers in order to make the two-pass operation easy. To make sure Corellaser does not mess with the text location, I have placed a a teensy dot on the upper right hand corner of each layer for alignment.
