Laser cut Masterspool

<p>This is a lasercut Masterspool for holding filament that you purchase without a spool.</p> <p>Buying a spool with each lot of filament is wasteful and unnecessary: Richrap is championing the idea of a Masterspool - <a href="https://richrap.blogspot.de/2018/01/masterspool-proposed-standard-for-3d.html">https://richrap.blogspot.de/2018/01/masterspool-proposed-standard-for-3d.html</a></p> <p>I thought I'd do my bit and create a laser cut version for those that don't want to waste a couple hundred grams of filament on creating a spool holder.</p> <p>You'll need the following:</p> <p>1x Side A<br/> 1x Side B<br/> 6x Insert<br/> 3x M8x60 bolts<br/> 3x self locking nuts</p> <p>The DXFs assume you're using 3.5ish mm wood.</p> <p>You can buy filament without the spool here: <a href="https://www.dasfilament.de/">https://www.dasfilament.de/</a></p> <p>Update: Added some filament tie off holes to use when storing the filament</p> <p>Have fun!</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
