Laser Cut MDF Wire harness / adapter

Laser Cut MDF Wire harness / adapter

I was trying to adapt four wires I had soldered into a home made power supply, to an LED light strip. I'll admit - I'm terrible at soldering - and I was having trouble soldering the wires to the flexible contacts on the LED strip. I used a laser cutter to engrave wire guides onto mdf. The guides snugly hold the wires, and keep the insulated portion in place, and the conductors aligned and positioned perfectly to adapt them to the contacts on the wiring strip. I don't expect this particular file to be of use to anyone - I'm more posting this simply to share the idea. I hope it can inspire someone else to solve a wiring problem with tools at hand. Instructions Cut with an 80 watt laser from scrap MDF. Engraved at around 50% power to make the wire channels.
