Laser-cut Reed Case

Laser-cut Reed Case

This makes a little case to store reeds for woodwind instruments. I don't know if it is suitable for expensive, high-end reeds but it seems to protect our simple ones well. I cut this project using 3mm clear acrylic, it may be worth upping the power slightly as the side walls are very thin and delicate and it's helpful it cut all the way through so they fall out rather than needing to be snapped out. You will need to sand down a chamfer to the front bottom edge of the top panel, this is the part that slides up against the reed and holds it down in place. Files attached are .ai and .eps
