Laser Cut Tascam DR-40 Stand

The Tascam DR-40 doesn't sit properly with the XLR eject buttons. With 1/4" to 1/8" adapters inserted (Brand: Aurum Cables 3-Pack 6.35mm Male to 3.5mm Female Stereo Adapter from Amazon), this stand will allow your Tascam DR-40 to stand up properly. Other brands may work, worst case scenario you may need to adjust the size of the holes. Cut in acrylic or wood and also a cut and glue a felt pad to prevent scratching and the accommodate for the Tascam's not exactly flat base. The photos for this project use three pieces of 5mm plywood and 1mm green felt cut and glued to the base. FUTURE DESIGN IDEAS: I may try to find a reliable source of 1/4" to 1/8" adapters with a 90° bend. This will allow the Tascam to stand up for recording while still allowing external sources. I may also open a hole for the remote if I ever buy one.
