It is a pair of speakers (70x70x70mm) and a small amplifier (55x50x30mm) to form this speaker system. The speaker I used a 2 inch driver unit for the speaker. Round corners at the four sides, the wood was bended in the desired curve. Finally I did the living-hinge right. The amplifier I used a ready-made PCB amplifier board with 6W x 2 power output, which already includes a 3.5mm input jack, speaker output and 5V DC input jack. All I need to do is to build a small case for the board. The speaker system can be used a PC speaker , of which we can power it up through the USB port from the computer.
