Laser Engraver - low cost and easy build

After several designs, I finally settled on this one and built a laser engraver from it. Feel free to change anything to adapt to your materials. The shared CAD model is in Solidworks format on GrabCAD: https://grabcad.com/library/laser-engraver-easy-low-cost-build-1 All the parts was made using a CNC milling machine, but they can also be 3D printed. Things that you can buy very easily from any hardware store. the size of the machine if variable, depending on the length of the aluminum tubes that you are using. The linear bearings were made using skateboard bearings: https://youtu.be/oMk8-tTqmg8 Despise the low cost of the materials, the machine is sturdy and moving smoothly in all axis. Happy engraving!!!
