Laser-Etched Spice Jar Labels

I am customizing some spice jars that I bought at Williams Sonoma by laser etching their labels on them. Instructions 1) Lay out your file in Adobe Illustrator according to the artboard guidelines of your laser cutter(my lasercutter is an 75 Watt Epilog legend with a 24\"x36\" artboard.) 2) Convert your fonts to outlines. If your laser cutter does not cut glass, you don\'t need to worry about the stroke weights, but you will want to make it etch the deepest that it can. For my laser cutter, this means setting the B-value to 256. 3) Set up your file such that the label is in the top left hand corner of the document. I\'m etching using a circular turning drum which turns the design 90 degrees with relation to the top, so my document is set up so that the label runs down the side of the jar. 4) Etch away!
