Laser Fume Extractor & Vacuum Table / Former Build

Laser Fume Extractor & Vacuum Table / Former Build

This is a design I came up with after purchasing a "fun house" blower from eBay (http://goo.gl/I61q5Z) and designed these two adapters to convert the opening to 1.5 inch. This can be used for laser (CO2/K40 type) fume extraction or run a vacuum table or former. The 170mm fits the larger inlet while the 116mm the outlet and designed receive 1.5 inch PVC connecting pipes. If you are looking for other K40/eBay CO2 laser parts, we have assembled these lists: Honey Comb Beds: http://diy3dtech.com/co2-laser-engraver-cutter-honeycomb-bed/Purchase a CO2 Laser: http://diy3dtech.com/purchase-laser/Jackstand Options: http://diy3dtech.com/lab-jack-stand-for-co2-laser/Upgraded Lens: http://diy3dtech.com/co2-laser-lens-options/Laser Focushead: http://diy3dtech.com/co2-laser-head-focus-diode-module/Air Assist Nozzle: http://diy3dtech.com/air-assist-nozzle-k40-laser/Fume Extraction: http://diy3dtech.com/blower-fans-for-co2-laser-fume-extraction/ We also did a video on this at https://youtu.be/NIAjOR0v7ws and to learn more about this and our other prints, please visit http://www.DIY3DTech.com as well check out our YouTube Channel at http://YouTube.DIy3DTech.com to learn more about 3D Printing, CNC Machining, and CO2 Laser cutting & engraving! Print Settings Printer: Wanhao i3 Duplicator Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: 15% Notes: After printing it is suggested to coat these in XTC-3D (http://amzn.to/2dBbAP3) for extra strength and use a heat to press form the funnels to the openings. For these I used PLA and print around 205c with 60c bed. Becuase of the short rise on the 170mm funnel, make sure layer cooling is turned and set to 100% to prevent sagging.
