Lasercut Book Binding Frame

Lasercut Book Binding Frame

thingiverse

This is a lasercut book binding frame I designed for myself. I was too lazy to go through with sanding the edges, so I made sure to put on two quick coats of sloppy polyurethane to make sure to seal in the charred edges (Don't want the soot getting on the book pages as I work). It's cut out of 1/4in plywood and glued with wood glue. I've got two files included - an .ai file and an .eps for those using something other than illustrator. It's laid out so it can be cut out of a 12x12in piece of plywood - I just got a square of craft plywood at Michaels/Hobby Lobby/JoAnne Fabrics. I've got a tutorial/image on my DA account that shows the process of sewing some book binding, for anyone interested -http://fav.me/d9c3r05
