Sometimes called a Wafer Head Screw.I used a whole box of these while building my recent shipping crates (Shipping Crate for Speaker).It is an excellent design as the flat head prevents the splitting of the wood like a typical wood screw (or flat head screw) would do as it is tightened. This was great on the crates, as the screws often needed to be placed close to the ends of the boards.The self drilling tip also helps prevent unwanted splitting. Overall they worked great.SolidWorks model is 2017. Step is also posted.
