Lathe CNC table add-on

In this project, I demonstrate the design of a lathe CNC table. Instead of modifying the lathe, this two-axis CNC table clamps to the lathe bed, thus avoiding the usual removal of the z-axis lead screw and the subsequent loss of thread cutting capability. It also avoids the need to machine the underside of the cross slide to accommodate the ball screw and nut.
