Lathe gouge sharpening jig

This is a lathe gouge sharpening jig. They are very expensive if you chose to buy one online and so I decided to CAD one up from some templates i found from a guy on youtube who makes one from wood pieces. You can see that video here: https://youtu.be/sfmIv0iXjis I took his template and used my calipers to measure and design the jig. It is not 100% exact but very close and the regular size fits both my smaller bowl gouges. Im currently printing a second jig with that i have scaled up on the y axis 60% to allow for my larger bowl gouge to be sharpened. depending on your orientation in cura/slicer you might have to scale the x axis instead. rescale the width of the handle 60% as well to accommodate the extra space. I have not yet tested them. print the jig, and the handle, get some nuts and bolds and follow along with the video to get a sense of how its put together and used. update 1: printed and build first version the sliding path was off so the new version accounts for that. printing and testing. update to come. update 2: new V2 is put together and confirmed functional. new pics shows full range of motion from both ends. update 3: tested v2 and works, this update fixed a slight misalignment and also increased the width by 60% to accommodate my large bowl gouge. if you have already printed v2 it should work fine with the misalignment but you could print the v3lrg to use on all the gouges if preferred to just have one jig.
