Lathe

Lathe

thingiverse

This is a lathe I made quite some time ago, but hadn't uploaded since I never found time to 3D print it and assemble it. If it sparks some interest, I can upload the BOM and also build one myself for testing. It should work as is, but it may need some adjustments. It uses commonly available parts (608 bearings, m3 and m4 screws) except for the 2020 aluminum profiles (not that hard to find though). The pulley is just there as a sample, the size will depend on the motor you want to use. I was designing a four-jaw chuck to be used with this lathe, but it's still unfinished. Heavily inspired by Matthias Wandel's wooden lathe, but made from scratch to be 3D printable.
