Lathe Spindle Adapter This customizable OpenSCAD model allows users to either 3D print a model of a spindle adapter that holds a nut, or cut sections of material and glue them together utilizing CNC/laser cutter. I have intended for the project to be cut into multiple sections and lined up. Construction pictures to follow. Export a module to STL then use DXF Extrusion to create files to be cut using projection. projection(cut=false) import("/PATH/TO/STL/file.stl"); v3 - animation added to fulladapter module v2 - Extended the diameter around the nut to include the through bolts. This prevents the wood or material from shearing on the lathe. Removed the module with nutsurround. Fixed full adapter preview. v1 - I don't suggest using this as there needs to be more surface area around the nut, as well as adding support for bolts to add strength.
