<p>Thread die holder for 20 mm dies. Fits on lathe tailstock spindle with 30 mm outer diameter.</p> <p>This is a remix of a design by Marius Hornberger. <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4625352">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4625352</a></p> <p>I changed it to fit 20 mm x 7 mm dies. Additionally I added M2-screws to increase the part strength. The main load goes on threads along the layer direction, which could cause shearing the holder. The M2 screws prevent the print from delamination.</p> <p>Tools:<br/> M4 thread cutter<br/> (M4 thread cutter - optional)</p> <p>Hardware:<br/> 4x M4x16 cylinder head screw<br/> (4m M2x16 countersunk screw -optional, when used: tighten them before cutting the M4 threads)</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>PLA; 0.2 mm layer height; 0.4 mm nozzle; add a modifier to the top section (see photo) and increase to 6 perimeters, 7 top layers and 25% infill</p>
