Get your lathe tool dead on center with this handy center finder! Using a 1.125 OD bearing, a piece of scrap rod (that matches your bearing ID) and a Bubble Level from an inexpensive line-level, this center finder will insure that your lathe tool is dead on-center with your work piece. Instructions Printed on a 1st gen Printr Bot: IC3D 3mm ABS, 100C Bed, 220C Extrude, .2mm layer height, 80% infill, no support. ID of bearing bore was .01" under, needed light sanding for perfect fit. ID of Bubble Level bore was modeled .01" over for perfect fit.
