Cults3D
2) 3D model description
This is an original, community-made replacement latch button designed for a double-compartment laundry bin lid mechanism. The model is engineered to match the functional fit of the original part (snap tabs / locking geometry) while using a clearly different external shape for improved grip and easier 3D printing.
What’s included
STL (ready to print)
STEP (editable CAD file for adjustments)
Compatibility (important)
This part is intended as a compatible replacement for laundry bins that use the same latch/button geometry. It may fit certain models sold under different brands (including some “Motek” laundry bins).
Disclaimer: This design is independent and not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand. Brand names are mentioned only to describe possible compatibility.
Notes before printing
Please compare the broken/original part with the images and verify key dimensions before printing.
Minor tolerance differences between bins and printers can affect fit. If the fit is too tight, lightly sand the snap tabs; if it is too loose, increase perimeters or infill.
If you need a small dimensional tweak for your specific bin variant, the STEP file is provided for easy editing.
