Fully printable 3D rc airplane Lavochkin La-11. **ATTENTION:** * Original wing design has a stupid error. There is new correct wing design. Strongly recommended to print new wing. All given instructions below are for old (original) design. * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4490163 *** Lavochkin La-11 *** Wingspan : 760mm Takeoff weight : ~720g Battery : 3S 800 - 1800mAh Motor : 2830-1100kv Propeller : 10x6 Flight time : > 10min (1800mAh), 8min (1000mAh) COG : 70mm from front of wing part (exactly on main longeron) Content: /fuselage - Fuselage parts /wing - Wing parts /controls - Control surfaces /motor - Motor frame /source - Project for FreeCAD Recommended printer settings: Layer height: 0.25mm Nozzle : 0.4 - 0.5mm Filament : PETG / PLA Assembly recommendations: 1. Put receiver into battery tray. 2. Glue wing to fuselage, you really not need to remove wing for all lifetime. 3. Elevator lift should be 8-12mm by tail edge, not more, trust me. 4. If you have troubles with aft positioned COG, you may install spinner 5. Drill hole in motor frame for upper screw. 6. You may want to add a piece of tape on cover lock for better locking. Flight recommendations: 1. Keep air speed! Low speed = spin stall = death :) 2. Keep away from sharp maneuvers using elevator, fly smooth. Other: You may upscale and print this model. Upscaled fly much much better. On photo you may find original 760mm and upscaled to 920mm versions. 920mm version equipped with 3536-1200kv motor and 9x6 APC-style prop. On upscaled version you can fly with sharp maneuvers. Normal takeoff weight for 920mm version is about 1050g. PS: This is my first design.
