**/!\ WARNINGS FOR STUPID/LITIGIOUS PEOPLE: Rubber band gun intended for recreational purposes. Do not use in public. Wear eye protection. Loading too many rubber bands may result in structural failure. If shooting someone with rubber band guns, make sure they are sufficiently protected. I am not liable for any damages resulting from improper use of this rubber band gun. /!\** The LCAR (Low-Capacity Assault Rifle) is my second Lego RBG, with improvements to the functionality, appearance, and—not that it matters—rate of fire. I learned, via an aching nose, that those ABS pieces can only be taken so far. This gun is a spinoff of the Beretta ARX-160 and Robinson Armament XCR. Just like before, spring the trigger with an average-sized rubber band (see picture). I also provided a breakdown file for more information about the mechanism and functions. My next Lego gun should not be an automatic one; it takes a fraction of the reloading time to empty both of my auto RBGs. STATS Fire mode: automatic Fire mechanism: repeater wheel regulated by escapement connected to sliding bolt Capacity: 4 rounds Ammo: size 18 or size 32 rubber bands (I actually used size 35) FEATURES - Screw-operated ammo hook extension (do not point at or directly away from face, or adjust while loaded) - More believable appearance - Prop grenade launcher - Prop tactical flashlight - Two storage compartments: one in the prop mag and another in the grip (for the grip, pull out only the topmost of the two pins near the bottom). - Folding telescopic stock (can also be removed) - Charging handle can withstand more force than in the MRBG - Shoots up to 6 metres - Asymmetrical components can easily swap sides to match user's handedness (stock pins, charging handle, prop flashlight) TIPS - The notches in the pin connectors used in the trigger should face backwards, to better retain the rubber band that springs the trigger.
