LDK Horizontal Case Redesign - Back Hey, don't worry if this design looks a bit rough around the edges - it's my very first attempt at designing something from scratch using 3D printing software! I'm still getting the hang of things. To be honest, I never really cared for the boxy shape of the original design. It just didn't feel comfortable to hold after a while. I've got some other tweaks in store for this unit as well, including swapping out the display screen for a 3-inch model from an old Sony point-and-shoot camera. I used calipers and a whole lot of patience to carefully measure out the original case, then made some modifications to the battery compartment, speaker enclosures, and even got rid of that annoying LED light indicator. I just wasn't feeling it. This is just the back panel - I'll be posting two different versions of the front panel, one for the standard display screen and another for the upgraded 3-inch model.
