Lead Screw Straightener for 8 mm screws

thingiverse

This is a lead screw straightener. It should work on any printer that uses lead screws that are 8 mm in diameter (Anet A6, Anet A8, Tevo Tornado, Tevo Tarantula, CR-10, CR-10s, etc.). You place the lead screw in the holder and use the lead screw probe (flat hinged panel) to press against the screw with your dial indicator. Turn the screw to see where the high spot is. Place your thumbs on either side of the probe panel and press down on the screw, bending it a little until it's at the measurement you want. Check in two to three segment increments. Hinge holes are 1.8 mm (should work with a piece of 1.75 mm filament).
