<p>This leaping arch base is designed for UK sized fittings although can be easily adapted in Fusion360 by adjusting parameters as required.</p><p>A cable outlet is included.<br>You will need two prints, mirror the second Print along the x axis so the cable outlets are both at the back!</p><p><br>The conduit for support can be obtained from B&amp;Q (20mm MK conduit) - <a href="https://www.diy.com/departments/mk-pvc-white-conduit-length-l-2m-dia-20mm/109150_BQ.prd">https://www.diy.com/departments/mk-pvc-white-conduit-length-l-2m-dia-20mm/109150_BQ.prd</a></p><p>The tubing for the arch itself is a 19mm OPAQUE coil available from<br><a href="https://onestophoopshop.co.uk/product/natural-translucent-polypro-coils/">https://onestophoopshop.co.uk/product/natural-translucent-polypro-coils/</a></p><p><strong>Printing</strong></p><p>This print does not need to be high quality.<br>I used -&nbsp;</p><p>material - PETG<br>layer height - 0.20mm<br>Infill - 20%</p><p><strong>Changing the arch angle</strong></p><p>The angle of the arch is set to .1 degree (almost straight up). &nbsp;It's not possible to set to 0 without f360 complaining. &nbsp;Common angles may be 5 or 10 degrees. &nbsp;Change as per your requirement.</p><p><strong>Changing the model</strong></p><p>The model parameters can all be changed in f360 to suit your requirements.<br><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/176706/rich_content/692eddb2-f1e8-4c01-91b6-584ecc390d08/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%223b432a63-7e05-45de-a9b2-de2becf8a8bd%22%2C%22w%22%3A864%2C%22h%22%3A718%7D"></p><p>The arch support thickness is 4mm with an additional 5mm for the screw hole. &nbsp;This is so a ½ inch screw will just make contact with the arch without damaging it (as a sharp screw may cause damage)</p><p><strong>Assembly</strong></p><p>To assemble an arch, you will need to work out the size of support tube and the size of the polypro arch tube required.<br><br>My shopping list -&nbsp;</p><ul><li>1m conduit for the base.</li><li>1.9 m polypro for the arch.</li><li>pixel strip (I used 60/m total 111 - 37 sections of 3)</li><li>2 printed bases (mirrored)</li><li>6 no8 ½" Pan head self tapping screws</li><li>Heatshrink to suit</li><li>2 BALS pigtails (or whichever pigtails you use)</li></ul><p>Instructions -&nbsp;</p><ol><li>Cut pixel strip to size</li><li>solder pigtail to female end and use heatshrink as required.</li><li>Push Male pigtail (the one with the cap) through bottom of Base and then solder to pixel strip. &nbsp;Use heatshrink as required.</li><li>Push female pigtail (the one without the screw cap) into the polypro arch.</li><li>Use screws to secure base and arch.</li></ol><p>Final assembly -</p><p>Use tent pegs and additional conduit to secure as required.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
