This is an extension for the Learning Blade Haiti Orphanage Mission Challenge Using the fully 3D printable Earthquake Shaker Table students will be able to test their structure designs for the Construction Response Activity. Print Settings Notes: Bottom and Top should be printed at 10 - 15% percent infill / with 2 walls. The springs in the video were printed at the same setting, but if you want stiffer or weaker springs you change your print settings accordingly. Standards NGSS Overview and Background Lesson Plan and Activity The fully 3D printable Earthquake Shaker table is to be used for testing student designs for earthquake resistant buildings. When students are testing their designs on the shaker table, have students tape their designs to the top so that it is anchored to it. There are Materials Needed 2-3 completed Shaker Tables per class. Follow Learning Blade Teacher guide for student construction of their building designs.
