My original leather Leatherman version of the case was coming apart after years of use. Not to mention it didn't ever look right on my belt alongside of the other black gear I wear. I created this to be a rugged and durable substitution and it has performed phenomenally. Still looks new after a couple of years of use. Can't shout enough good things about TPU for these kinds of projects. I tried to figure out how to print a basket weave in the design but it just was too difficult.
