LED Christmas Tree w/Color

This is a variation of the original LED Christmas Tree http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1406 Edit: Added a photo of an opaque green with clear filament lights...looks pretty cool light up :) Edit-2: Every tree needs star. Printed from clear PLA. Drill a small hole in the star and the top of the tree (I drilled the hole in the tree from the underside so it stayed in the middle. Use a small piece of clear filament to attach :) I added the color by drilling holes in the tree and inserting various colored filament. I drilled the hole a tiny bit smaller than the diameter of the filament to insure it doesn't fall out. My filament measured .068" I used a #51 drill bit (.067"). I cut a small angle on one end of the filament, and cut to other end flat. I then used a heat gun to melt the exposed end of the filament so it would be shinny. I pulled the angle end through the hole and then cut the inside flush. It allows you to use more than one process to print a part. I run process-1 starting at 0.0mm and stops at 3.0mm, I run 3 perimeter layer, 3 bottom layers, and 0 top layers. Process-2 starts at 3.0mm and completed the tree, I run 3 perimeter layers only, 0 top & bottom layers.
