LED Cube CPU monitor

This is the LED cube presented on https://there.oughta.be/an/led-cube. It is a 3d printed frame with 64x64 RGB LED video panels on three sides and a Raspberry Pi 2 on the inside. An accompanying Python script monitors the CPU on another PC and sends its status data to the cube. The animation on the cube then reflects CPU usage and temperature on the other PC. The cube shown on there.oughta.be consists of three sides that hold a panel each (sides.stl), two sides holding the Raspberry Pi 2 (sides_pi_bottom.stl and sides_pi_side.stl) and one plain solid side (sides_filled.stl). You might also use different combinations. The base is optional if you prefer to present the cube at an angle (I did not use it in the end). Print in PLA with 0.1mm layer height (although 0.2mm should work fine, too). The orientation of the objects in the STL files is the suggested orientation for printing. The "frame" sides for the LED panels should be printed with supports to get the small inset for the panel right. The other models can usually be printed without supports (I used Cura and an Anycubic Mega S). I have also included the blend files (Blender) if you want to change the design. See http://there.oughta.be/an/led-cube or the video at https://youtu.be/QqknzoxHMFo for more details on the electronics and the software. Note, that this project requires some experience in compiling code and setting up the Linux system on the Pi as well as probably adapting the accompanying Python script. I provide source, print files and an overview, but not a step-by-step guide. Questions and discussions on https://www.reddit.com/r/thereoughtabe/. Of course, anything regarding the 3d printing can be done here as well...
