<p>Remixed this awesome design of an dragon egg from @<a href="https://www.myminifactory.com/users/DoritoMojito">DoritoMojito</a> on myminifactory (got his permission):</p><p><a href="https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-dragon-egg-93134">https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-dragon-egg-93134</a></p><p>It now fits a threaded insert in the bottom so it can be lighted from the inside.</p><p>The base of the egg is designed specifically for the following parts:</p><ul><li>Battery holder <a href="https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B0823WK4CN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1&amp;tag=thingiverse09-20">https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B0823WK4CN/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o04\_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1</a></li><li>Power switch <a href="https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B007QAJLDE/ref=ppx/_yo/_dt/_b/_asin/_title/_o05/_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1">https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B007QAJLDE/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o05\_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1</a></li></ul><p>Additional you need the following:</p><ul><li>5mm LED</li><li>Soldering iron and some solder</li><li>CR2032 battery</li><li>short wire (2.5cm) Assembly should be obvious from the pictures.</li></ul><p>Print settings:</p><ul><li>until layer 79 i used 20% infill</li><li>from there to the to 0% so the light can pass through</li><li>use transparent/translucent filament with 2 or 3 walls (you may try non-translucent filament with 1 wall but I haven´t tried that yet)</li><li>you also need to make a hole in the middle</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;→ right click the model in Prusaslicer → add modifier Cylinder</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;→ scale it to 12mm X/Y and 16mm Z</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;→ position X/Y =0 so it sits right in the middle of the egg</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;→ right click in the cylinder → Layers and Perimeter → Bottom Layer 0</p><ul><li>I got some issues at the top as you can see in one of the pictures, but that was probably due to the filament i used.
