LED Holder

LED Holder

Holder for the Digitron LED Module. I bought two of these 1-Watt LED Modules at Frys. http://www.alltronics.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=LHA06B12N I wanted to find an easy way to mount them and light up the work surface. Instructions This was originally printed on a pretty badly bubbled belt. After making my own belt a-la http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5648 (thanks!), it printed much smoother. The module slips under the tabs on the back, and snaps onto the pegs on the front. Run the wires towards the back. On the Z-axis, unscrew one of the thumbscrews holding the plastruder, put it through the hole (you'll have to make the hole a little bigger to fit), and screw it back in. Do the same with the other side. Run the wires up through the two square holes on the z-axis, tape down or otherwise secure the wires, and solder/connect them to 12v, similar to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5771
