LED Light Clip for Rostock max / Orion printers

This is a LED clip that attaches to the base of the extruded aluminum of the seemecnc rostock max and Orion 3d printers. The clip portion of this, really works well. The problem is that the effector can collide with this light if you are printing something big. The light clip is designed for 5mm LEDs. I used the 50pcs Mixed Colour 5mm Leds Pre Wired Light 12v 20cm Bulb found here: https://amzn.com/B00PI2SWZA I drilled a small hole to allow the Wires to go directly into the cabinet of the printer. The light flickers when you are printing directly to the power supply. to solve this I added a DROK® DC Step Down Variable Voltage Regulaor 36V to 24V 12V 5V 3.3V 3V Buck Converter Electronic Volt Stabilizer Car Automatic Battery Adjustable Regulated Power Supply DIY LM2596 Module Board. http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00VUHVX6W. Now there is no more flicker. Lastly, I didn't want this thing ALWAYS on when I'm printing, so... I added something like http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B012IJ3DZY. (although mine was different) I mounted the toggle in a mirror image of the power switch near the Y tower. lets face it, asymmetry of the power switch bothers you a bit. Good Luck! Print Settings Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 10% (doesn't matter) Notes: I did include a single support into the print. it worked well for me but It could depend on your slicer.
