Custom light rings and other parts for Ben Diger's Daft Punk Helmet NOTE: Some parts may appear different in photos, this is a work in progress. I made two Thomas helmets, a silver one in 2015 and a gloss gray one in 2017 as you may notice in the photos. These parts are modifications on this Daft Punk Thomas Helmet: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:338831 Light_Ring_LED_Strip_w_support.stl: -Replaces LightRing-v1.0.stl -Enables placing of LED strip in earpiece -There's a removable support in the center of the ring -Ear light rings printed with translucent PETG filament -With or without box for encoder Ear_Cap_Hex.stl & Ear_Cap_encoder_connector.stl: -Replaces Thomas_helmet-EarCap.stl -With Light_Ring_LED_strip_w_support.stl, enables ear cap to be a knob by inserting encoder or potentiometer -Ear_Cap_w_support.stl has a hexagon shaped support that needs to be removed Ear_Electronics_Box_cap_XL.stl Ear_Electronics_Box_XL.stl: Electronics box that fits in earpiece Visor Form: Heat pre-cut, pre-tinted acrylic and drape over mold to form visor Update: Added some "Combined" parts for larger printers. The visor parts and LED Matrix supports work much better when printed in one piece (instead of left & right) so if you have a larger printer (10"x10" or so) use these files.
