LED Light with Switch
thingiverse
I initially designed this adaptable LED flashlight to house a red LED for use with my telescope setup at night. Glancing at it, I thought people might be intrigued by it with either white (clear LEDs) or any other color, so... here it is... FWIW, I used PLA+ (no big deal, right? You'll choose what you want...). No supports were necessary. Parts required: 1 A 5mm 3v LED (you can get about a hundred of them for like 7 bucks) 2 A 2032 Battery 3 A Switch - SS12F1-G3, SS-12F16, or equivalent (easy to find on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0799R529Z ) 4 A 3D Printed Base 5 A 3D Printed Cover Also, a soldering iron, solder (of course!) and snips. I also drop in a random piece of foam, just because (see pic) See my LED switchable Pendant if you need more pics to assemble it. Be aware that I made this a tight fit so that it could be pretty tiny, so you need to cut one ear and the opposite tab off of the switch (see pic)... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3895405 The cover is a snap fit, no glue needed unless you absolutely must (remember, the battery should be replaceable!). Press it in first right over the switch and then gently press in the remainder.
